Cancer
- The WCC Cancer Ministry provides hope, support, and love to cancer patients, their families, and friends through a Cancer Connection Group, Survivors Network, and Cancer Center Ministry. Financial Peace - Financial Peace University currently consists of over 50 people who attend this Christian based class. They are excited about learning how to become debt free and how to invest for their future. Missions - WCC desires not only to minister to you as an individual or family, but also to give you an opportunity to use the gifts God has given you to put His love into action. Put "feet to your faith" and make a difference not only in our church, but in our community and the world. Prayer - The Prayer Team meets monthly to plan the prayer ministry of the church and to spend time in fellowship with each other and God. Two times a year, they go on an overnight spiritual retreat to Wilderness Camp and Retreat Center. They pray together, make meals together, sing around the campfire, fellowship with each other and seek God's guidance for their lives and the prayer life of the church. We Care - We are excited about the opportunities available for your children to participate in this ministry of our church. Our mission is to connect all children to Jesus Christ! We believe that each child is uniquely endowed with a capacity for learning and growing. Our hope is to provide a spectrum of learning experiences in which each child's developmental potential is enhanced and directed toward his or her fulfillment. Adoption - The Woods Chapel UMC Adoption Resource Foundation (ARF) exists to provide families with ways needed to give a child a loving home. The ARF will also bring families together by providing information and financial aide. The ARF was founded out of the love of children and a hope to help families adopt children waiting for a loving home. Volunteers ("Yes I Can") - The WCC volunteer program. We have many places for you to volunteer your time.
